Physical Appearance Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Formulation Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered concentrated solution in 20 mM PB, pH 7.4, 50 mM NaCl.
Endotoxin Less than 1 EU/µg of rHuGRO-¥ã/CXCL3 as determined by LAL method.
Reconstitution We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1 % BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ¡Â -20 ¡ÆC. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
Stability & Storage Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
- 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 ¡ÆC as supplied.
- 1 month, 2 to 8 ¡ÆC under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
- 3 months, -20 to -70 ¡ÆC under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Usage This material is offered by Korea Lugen Sci for research, laboratory or further evaluation purposes. NOT FOR HUMAN USE.

Background CXCL3, also named GRO-¥ã, is belonging to the CXC chemokine family and encoded by the gene CXCL3. CXCL3/GRO-¥ã shares 86 % amino acid sequence with CXCL1/GRO-¥á. All three human GROs (GRO-¥á, GRO-¥â, GRO-¥ã) are members of the intercrine alpha (chemokine C-X-C) subfamily of chemokines. This chemokine is secreted by monocytes and macrophages. The functional receptor for CXCL3 has been identified as CXCR2. Similar to other GRO proteins, CXCL3 is potent neutrophil attractants and activators. CXCL3 plays a role in inflammation and exert its effects on endothelial cells in an autocrine fashion. All three GROs can bind with high affinity to the IL-8 receptor type B.
